I suffered from aching legs during my third pregnancy, I found morning green smoothies helped a lot.
Greens contain magnesium; a lack of which can cause aching/restless legs.
I’d like to share this delicious recipe with you:
- 1 large ripe banana
- 1/2 mango (optional)
- large handful of spinach and/or kale
- cup of water
Blend for 20 seconds (10 secs longer if made with kale) & drink immediately (but slowly).
When the aches were really bad, I added a couple of heaped teaspoons of Vitamineral Green powder as well.
I still enjoy these smoothies now!
